Some of you may be getting tired of all the Tesla Referral codes being published by Tesla Owners for $1000 USD \/ \u00a3750 GBP (or whatever it is in your currency) off the purchase of a new Model S or Model X. (In case you’re not, here’s our referral code – http:\/\/ts.la\/dennis5317)<\/a><\/p>\n

Well, it’s because Tesla has a referral program for owners to get their friends and acquaintances into a Tesla Model S or Model X. \u00a0The original iteration of the program had provided cash rewards (service credits and the like) for each referral that purchases a Model S or Model X. \u00a0That was cool, but felt kinda “funny” and it\u00a0was actually a disincentive for me to participate when the reward\u00a0program was for\u00a0cash. \u00a0Here is a link to the current program<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Subsequent programs provided a prize pool for each referral and the one that has been the most successful for me had been the referral program that led us to an invite to the gigafactory party\u00a0and our\u00a0main 2016 Roadtrip that took us the Long Way Round to the Gigafactory.<\/a><\/p>\n
